Project Details

The landscape plan for the Conservatory Metro District in Aurora integrates the existing neighborhood character, water savings, and connectivity into a cohesive design language. This multi-acre public metro district wanted to focus on turf reduction, entry features, and urban wildlife mitigation. Completing an existing tree inventory throughout the vast site helped define the plant palette and unique characteristics. Through a phased approach, Ivy Street Design will continue to provide leadership and a multi-disciplinary strategy to site design for the multi-acre Conservatory Metro District. A blend of contemporary and suburban style, refreshed planting schemes, and reduced water usage will keep this district a growing and vibrant Colorado neighborhood.
